Over the past 10 years, the Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Force has dispatched more than 1,500 Fisheries Surveillance vessels to patrol, inspect, and control fisheries in Vietnam’s sea areas. In addition to propagating and disseminating the law to fishermen, the Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance force detected and handled more than 12,000 fishing vessels violating IUU fishing, imposing fines of more than 100 billion VND . Vietnamese fisheries surveillance has stopped and asked tens of thousands of violating foreign fishing vessels to leave Vietnamese’s sea areas.
At the art program “The fulcrum at the beginning of the wave”, Eni-Florence Battery Joint Stock Company awarded 50 million VND for the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Force to mobilize all forces. The Fisheries Surveillance Force will always promote the spirit of solidarity, raise a sense of responsibility, always maintain a strong political will, and be determined to strive to successfully complete the political tasks assigned by the Party and State.
